Marsh&#8217;s, <i>500 Bible Readings<\/i>.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would <strong>cleave unto the Lord<\/strong>.&#8212;Acts 11:23<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The following seven ways will indicate how we can cleave to Christ:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> By prayerful dependence upon Him (Phil 4:6).<\/li>\n<li> By being taught by Him (Matt 11:29).<\/li>\n<li> By ready response to His word (John 14:21).<\/li>\n<li> By whole-hearted surrender to Him (Rom 12:1).<\/li>\n<li> By separation from the ungodly (2 Cor 6:17).<\/li>\n<li> By living a life of faith upon Him (Gal 2:20).<\/li>\n<li> By waiting for Him (1 Thess 1:10).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><br class=\"spacer_\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n1. <span style=\"font-style:italic\">500 Bible Readings<\/span>, Marsh, F.E., (London: Marshall Brothers, 1897).
